Tarik and Dianeda Short are devoted Christians who have been married for 18 years with 3 biological daughters, 2 grandchildren and a dozen of foster kids.
The Short’s entered into their union while in their early twenties, with one thing in mind, LOVE. Coming from two different backgrounds, their understanding of marriage were the examples around them. Ignorant to so much more that comes with marriage they faced many trials and uncertainties. Over the years they learned that LOVE wasn’t what will keep their marriage alive; that it was purpose.
The first 9 years of marriage the Shorts only accepted the title of husband and wife. It wasn’t until their 10th year where they started to understand that their marriage had purpose. Once purpose was revealed it allowed them to receive one another. Mrs. Short received Mr. Short fully as her Husband and Mr. Short fully receive his wife as his GIFT. That revelation catapulted their marriage to higher heights.
Mrs. Short is a licensed ordained Minister and works full time as a Dental Assistant. Mrs. Short also serves as COO of Lean On US Unity House of Faith, where she utilizes her passion in helping and providing a Group home for pregnant teens and teen moms and Lean On Us Unity Childcare Center. Mr. Short is a Minister in Training, a fulltime entrepreneur as owner of Shorts Trucking and Natural Cleansing Cleaning Service .
